My/Our Holiday Review:

I booked with Alpha rooms for bed & breakfast in the Hotel Nadal for two nights as we where visiting my folks in Torrevieja for ten days and this might be a change. Before leaving we changed this to three nights, and when we arrived the receptionist was very nice and helpful with my dad parking infront of the hotel. The lounge is beautiful & very modern. We then got to our room which was quite basic but clean and nice, the view was breath taking as the hotel is at the far end of Levante beach each room has a sea view.

The first morning we went down for breakfast, I looked and at the heaters and thought mmmm full breaky (as I had read on reviews of the breakfast being great) only to find a plate of greasy warm fried eggs & ham fried to look like bacon with Tortilla de Patatas! the rest looked ok fruit, cerials & toast with stale coisants. That I think was the only down side but has got me thinking of next year as this hotel isnt the cheapest.

The Hotel on an evening turns into an exclusive bar right next to the sea with tourchs alight along the front and ambiant music playing with a spanish/north african feel to things, I must say they made the best sangria I have tasted and at 16euro a litre I didnt mind paying, all staff day and night where great and helpfull.

We loved the hotel and view that much we booked another night & they moved things about to let us stay. There was a mixture of english and spanish couples there and everyone was polite.

p.s. Hotel Nadal, it would be nice to have a english channel to snooze to while having a siesta (states on Alpha rooms that it has satalite in all rooms).

My/Our Holiday Review:

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Nereo. We arrived at midnight to find that the hotel had a meal waiting for us in the restaurant, a nice touch we thought. we found our room to be spacious and very clean, this continued throughout our stay as the room was cleaned with towels replaced daily. All staff spoke english and were very helpful and friendly.

The food was excellent with plenty of choice, despite my husband being a fussy eater he managed to gain several pounds during his stay.

On a slight minor point there is a queue at 8.30am waiting for pool area to open at 9am to acquire a sunbed.

We have been to Benidorm many times and we have found this area to be the best for shops, bars etc and their prices are very cheap, ie euro a pint in several bars.

The Nereo has an excellent location, 10 mins walk to the British centre and 3 mins from the beach. It is so good we are returning in May 08.

This hotel was fantastic for the price, 16 of us stayed here and cannot fault the place or staff. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome.

The food is brilliant, lots of choice and the wine reasonably priced in the dining room. Pool area has plenty of beds and pool bar great.

Very central, the rooms are clean and bright.

We would definately return. Very highly recommended.

My/Our Holiday Review:

The Hotel is situated quite away from what is considered the centre of town, but close enough to walk.

If you are below 65, DON'T go here at Xmas time everything is geared to OAP's, who as a personal opinion we found most to be rude and over bearing.

The food was adequate but lacked varity. The Christmas Lunch was a disaster, the queue for the dining room started about an hour before lunch was sheduled and by the time they had got everybody squashed in it was about 1/2 hour late and about 20 minutes between courses. Wine was supoosed to be served with lunch, we got one glass and a very sterne look when we asked for a top up.

Rooms were clean and tidy television was O.K. but not to good picture.

Resort has gone down hill a bit since we last visited Benidorm 5 years ago, there was a lot of people reporting pickpocketing and fraud. My father was a victim this Christmas of a pick pocket there. The Pea people on the beach (find the pea under the cup) seem to operate at will and we saw 2 incidences of pickpocketing the crowd that watched, while they ripped off the unwarey betting on a looser.

Dodgey exchange places were also ripping people off.

The dog mess was everywhere, particualarly along the front.

Don't think we will be returning again.

Just returned from the Nereo hotel as a solo traveller it was a fab hotel food was great the staff all very friendly especially my waitress Rosa. The hotel is in a great position near all the bars and clubs but far enough away so that its not too noisy its also near the beach only 5 minutes walk away. This was my first time in Benidorm and I had a ball hope to go back again next year My only complaint about the hotel was the size of my room it was very small and that fact that I had to pay a single supplement I don't think it's very fair, but after all you don't spend much time in the room. The people that go to this hotel are mainly 50 plus. Can't say anything about entertainment as I went out at night and by time I got in it was finished. I thought the food was great plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I would recommend going to the Benidorm Palace its a fab show the cost was 25 euros but its well worth it also the drag show in the La Rue club it great.

we had read the previous reviews of this hotel and we went with an open mind. The food in the hotel was excellant, quite the best food we have had in benidorm.

The staff in the hotel could not be faulted and so was the location and the accomodation.

However with the shops in Benidorm all now selling the same tacky souveneirs it does not make for interesting shopping.

The health facilities however remain of a very high standard,as we needed to consult a doctor when we were there and the facilities are second to none.

My/Our Holiday Review:

Stayed at the Nereo as a last minute booking after abandoning our booked accommodation (see review for Don Miguel II). Staff went out of their way to assist us in our dire straits as it was Christmas Eve and we had no accommodation. Spent a lovely Christmas and New Year at this hotel which included a Gala New Year's Eve Dinner that was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated opposite the Indoor Market and about 200 yards from Levante beach. The food at this hotel is varied and hot and always found something to eat. Although the room we were first allocated was rather small, we requested to be moved to a larger room and they were quite happy to accommodate us.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The resort of Benidorm is excellent and the night life second to none with showbars such as Chaplins, Zodiac, Stardust, The Town, Wheeltappers and Sandras not to be missed. We particularly enjoyed the comedians, especially Tony Scott, Mike Curtis, Gary George and Danny Dowling.

We also recommend Oscars Restaurant (opposite Churchills) for its excellent food. Very friendly staff and comfortable seating.

The Nereo hotel was excellent and very clean with very friendly staff. The food was excellent and you could eat as much as you like with a good choice range...good for kids because they tried everything. The room was clean and got clean towels and bedding often. The resort of benidorm was very busy but I was very impressed with how clean it was with street and beach cleaners working 24 hours a day. There are loads of local bars all offering very cheap drinks at 2 for 1 prices or 1 euro a pint.

The Piccadilly is always a euro a pint and Costa Games 2 also which are so near you can see the Hotel. Owners are very nice and friendly. Apart from the bar over the road called the Cosmopolitan where the beer prices were double and they measured our drinks to an eighth of a measure(even cheap local brands)at twice the cost of anywhere else and the bingo prices were very expensive. When I asked the owners very politely why, they were very rude and said we were not the sort of people they were looking for. I could not believe it so my family and friends all left...no wonder it was empty. The only Bar in Spain that measures out cheap drinks. Apart from that we had a great time. Where else can you get a three course chinese meal and a drink for 3 euros 50 cents..fantastic value...my wife and kids loved it so we will all be back.(not to the Cosmpolitan though.

We have just returned fromthe nereo on 18/12/04.This was our second visit there having spent two weeks there last year, and were very dissapointed .The quality of food had gone down by 50% compared to last year it was only lukewarm most of the time. the staff didnt seem to like it if you asked for more(oliver came to mind). The entertainment was nil,we were promised last year that would improve but it hadnt.

A certain member of the bar staff was extremely rude, when we asked if he could turn the volume of the cd's down slightly in order that we could here ourselves speak his reply was if you dont like it go and sit outside.

The furniture in reception was well past its sell by date.

We will not be going back to the nereo again, which is a shame as the location is excellent

We were allocated this hotel on arrival, what superb luck, great food, the variety, amount and consideration towards British taste`s could not have been better. It is however a hotel that caters towards the older age groups(thank heavens). The younger generation should look elsewhere.

Considering it is located in the `busy` side of Benidorm, noise is not a problem. One big plus, the drinks in the hotel are the same price as the local bars/pubs and quite often better quality.

Hotel Nereo is at the end of Levante beach on the road leading up to the Benidorm Palace. The food was varied and was well served and tasted o.k. The rooms were very good and serviced every day and clean towels whenever you wanted them. The pool was good and we had no bother with sun beds at any time of day.

This is our third visit to Benidorm all at this end which is handy for most of the clubs and bars but away from the noise.

Most of the entertainment is drag artists and comics who take the mick out of the punters.Try and take in the show at the Wheeltappers and Shunters club. This club has been done out since our last visit and has the best stage and lighting for a show. The best comic we saw was Scarlet O,Hara at Sandras she is getting on a bit but is still a good turn. The Rich Bitch at old Benidorm is a good show but you need to book.

All in all some thing for everyone and did not see any bother at all and we were out til 3 every night.goand have agood time.

hotel location ,very good

Staff excellant

bedrooms comfortable but basic

Now the minus points

Food in general was poor, very bland and very litle choice

hotel entertainment, very poor, although you did,nt really need it

You were not able to use the facilities of other hotels in the group as with other hotel groups,i stayed at the venus the previous time, and it was far superior.

Overall a reasonable holiday, but ithink its worth paying the extra for a4 star hotel.

We returned from Benidorm in July having stayed in the Hotel Ocos, friends had stayed in this hotel and had told us about it. Firstly the pool is the best we have ever seen and plenty of free sunbeds but still the brits lay there towels on them early to reserve there beds I was pleased when staff remove them and lay them in a pile. The food is good and freshly cooked but does not differ a great deal from day to day. The rooms are a bit on the small side and are kept very clean with a maid visting every day.

The only thing we did not like about this hotel was the entertainment which we thought was poor. The hotel is very central.

Just returned from Hotel Orange .What a lovely Hotel, the food was delicious, plenty of choice. Staff were friendly, (nice change in Spain)Pool area very clean. The only let down was the position of the hotel. right in the main bar area (square)It could get quite noisy during the night. Peaple still coming in at 8 in the morning, I would stay in this hotel again but would ask for a room at the rear of the Hotel.

A lovely place to eat during the day was Yorkshire Pride .Very Quick service and reasonable too.

Masses of British youngsters falling around everywhere, being sick and passing out in the gutter....I will not be returning to Benidorm......I have been twice before about 10 years ago and the resort is being spoilt by these morons.

Just returned from the Orange after our first stay at this hotel for 14 nts from the 10 Feb 2007. The Hotel is very clean rooms are cleaned and towel's are changed every day.

The food was great there is a lot of vegetable.s and boiled potato.s served every day not just chips to choose from and a full english breakfast every day. The staff are are very friendly and helpful a safe costs 12 euro's a week + 10 Euro.s returnable deposit and a fridge costs 3 euros a day. We had a pool view room that overlooks the Cafe De Benidorm and the square that stays open all night and attract.s the younger people we did not here any noise when we were there but that could change in the summer months. There is a sun terace above the pool area and when you are settled you do not have to move while the sun shine.s as you get the sun all day. The 2 downside.s to this hotel are 1 the 3 lifts only go down to the reception area and the dining room and pool area are on the ground floor any buggies or wheelchairs would have to be carried down a flight of stairs. And 2 the walls of this hotel are very thin and you can here lots of noise from the next room. This hotel is centraly situated in the Lavante area and is only 200mtrs to the beach.

We would definately stay at this hotel again and hope this report is of use to anybody

Travelled to Benidorm 2nd of Feb for 4 nights this was are 8th visit first time at the Orange. What a really nice Hotel everyone was very nice and we checked in with no problems. Rooms a little small and walls only thin but cleaned every day and the location is great right next to the square. Food in the restaurant was very good we never had to queue for meals and there was always a ggo selection . In fact it was the best food we have ever had and we always stay in Hotels.

As for the resort well you know what you are getting in Benidorm Had three nights in Cafe Benidorm drinks were cheap. Stay away from Morgans Tavern the drinks were very expensive and the place was empty. Had a meal out at the Queens Hotel in the old town the food was great def 5 star you must make a visit even if only for a pub lunch the food is a la carte and entertainment after from " Levi ".

Already planning next trip in August.

My/Our Holiday Review:

The Hotel is of a high standard, clean & well maintained, staff helpful & efficient,

maid service was excellent.

Room was of a good size, view from the balcony was none existent although I think i could see the sea in a gap between two of the high rise hotels.

No extra charge for the air con, also fridges are available from reception.

Food, varied selection but meat dishes revolve around pork, chicken or veal but if you get fed up with those there a alternatives, good cold buffets, fish etc.

Good choice of deserts.

Meals are self service, therefore a bit 'Mass Produced'.

Hotel entertainment is poor & seems to be aimed at the captive audience ( those that can't get out of the hotel ), for example two that I caught were a poor Elvis impersonater & a couple doing Cuban dancing, both were on quite late & only lasted 30mins or so, there is a resident DJ ? ! & that old English favourite, Yes they have BINGO !

The Orange is right in the centre of the 'Night Life' loads of bars open all night but despite this there was no problem with noise.

Benidorm itself is not very pleasant, the resort is dirty, seedy, neglected.

The pedestrian areas around the bars are a disgrace, litter bound, masses of broken paving & in need of a good clean, in fact I fail to see how anyone can go there year after year or even worse go there twice a year, year after year.

I have, been, seen & will not be rebooking.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Orange. The food is really very good with a menu that should please anyone and it's produced in a sparklingly clean kitchen.

The rooms, although small and basic, are again kept spotless with daily towel changes and bed linen changed every other day.(NB the baths are tiny although the showers are excellent). The hotel itself is very clean also.

An excellent air conditioning system was available at all times and for no extra cost (Greek hoteliers please note) although the ambient Benidorm temperatures were perfect at any time of day.

There is a fair sized pool with lots of sunbeds and chairs which catches the sun for most of the day.

The hotel staff is helpful and friendly and wheelchair clients are catered for quite well.

The hotel entertainment we saw was quite fair but Benidorm caters for all tastes.

The Orange is, of course, situated in Benidorm party central meaning the area at night is very noisy and busy with touts trying to get everyone and anyone into their employers' pub/nightclub.

The noise can be a problem as it goes on until 0430+ so if you wish to sleep it's best to ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the nightclubs.

If you are a beach person you have to like walking because the Orange is about 10 minutes walk from the Levante beach and there are no proper sea views from the hotel either.

Do try the Orange. You will like it but remember to ask for a room at the back.

Arrived in Benidorm to really heavy rain and when we checked into the orange we all looked liked drowned rats as the coach had to drop us off at the top of a no through road. The check in was ok despite only one member of staff allocating the rooms. We all met up in the new Sanctuary bar but a few of us were a little fed up that there was no where at all allocated to smokers. We had to stand outside in the rain if we wanted a ciggie.I for one felt I was at work and was very dissappointed that in the huge area (half empty)we could not smoke anywhere. The bar was never patronised all week!

The hotel itself was fine the food was excellent and the dining room was never to busy. This could have been because of the time of year. The weather in Benidorm in late April was weird. We normally go to Benidrom in July or Sept never been this early and it is freezing at night and during the day it was so very windy. The comedians we saw in Sept 2005 where still telling the same jokes, mad maori just looks even older and the Black Chicken was still as full whatever time of year.It was strange to see Sinatras full of OAPs playing bingo all day and most of the bars at night fairly empty that the entertainment died anyway.Love Benidorm but both feel ready for a change.

Would reccommend the hotel in the low seasons but not sure about high as it overlooks the square.

We went to the Hotel Orange for the Fiesta Week in November.

When we arrived on Saturday we were told we couldn't have a safety deposit box key as there was none available, although the safety deposit boxes are in your room. The hotel is clean, but is noisy, the walls are paper thin, we could hear the guy next door snoring and coughing all night. The food was rubbish, not much choice at all. You couldn't sit on your balcony during the afternoon as the music from Champions bar in the square was on full blast. The hotel had a few large groups of lads and lasses in making quite a noise. The fireworks on Wednesday were well worth seeing though.

I would not rate the Hotel Orange a 3* more a 2* star. We will definitely not be going there again.

Well i have just got back from the orange hotel and i thought it was lovely,The hotel itself was lovely it was newley refurbished a while ago. But what can i say the towels was changed daily which i thought was good, the rooms was lovely a decent size very clean could not complain one bit about the room, the restuarant was lovely it was never to busy to be able to get a seat i had my little girl there so we would get down there for as soon as it was open and it would be empty, the staff was all polite and they all spoke very good english, the food it self was great,we could not complain there was alot of choice, even if you didnt like what was dished up you could of had pizza and pasta.

The swimming pool was clean nice size for the size of the hotel, the kids pool could have been abit bigger but other than that the pool was good the only thing which annoyed me was that they always say it do not put towels on the sun loungers and people still do it.Overall the hotel was lovely, clean, friendly.

The Resort,

The hotel was in the center of the new town where all the action is and to be quite honest you dont see much trouble we only saw one fight and that was at the end of the holiday, but the hotel is opposite a few bars which are opened to late but once you have closed your doors to the balcony you hardley can hear a thing, and most of them around there will accept kids so its unlikely you would get groups coming to look for trouble.

The old town is about 20 minuate walk away which it would be worth walking up that way it was lovely to see the locals and there life. The beach is lovely very hot sand ,nice clear water and not really that deep untill you get further out that is,the only thing you have to watch is the pick pockets, they work in groups and they will catch you when say your looking in the market or they will catch you out when they try and play games on the street with you and there will be pick pockets all around you so do not even look at what they are doing. Im glad that nothing happened to us like that while we was there, otherwise they are lovely local people, the weather was nice this time of year not to hot but just right and you still will get a lovely tan to come home with.

Overall i loved the whole holiday and i will be coming back to the hotel orange and to benidorm i would recommend it to anybody.

This Hotel is right in the heart of all the Clubs and entertainment.

We went to this Hotel 3 years ago, but it has recently been refurbished. It was lovely then but is even better now! The food was perfect for all tastes. The restaurant staff friendly and very efficient.

The cleanliness of the Hotel is excellent, our room was cleaned to a very high standard each day, air-conditioning was fantastic!

They have recently built "The Sanctuary" where all the evening entertainment is provided, all the acts were of a very high standard.

I could not find one thing that I could fault with this Hotel, it was for all ages and tastes, would definitely have no hesitation in recommending it!

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

On the 20th of june i booked a weeks holiday, through xcape with us,at the hotel orange benidorm, paid for it by visa, and recieved booking voucher, and confirmation letter the same day.On the 1st of september i was phoned by xcape with us to say that the hotel orange could not accomadate us as they were overbooked, some 10 weeks after booking and paying for the accomadation.they offered me accomadation in a sister hotel.

I contacted the manager at xcape with us, also the manager of the hotel orange, who both denied any responsibility for the overbooking, giving the impression that this was standard practice.my point is,that if you book a hotel on line, you are not bound to stay in the hotel you selected, and as i did,get an awfull lot of aggrevation ino the bargain..

My/Our Holiday Review:

I stayed at Hotel Orange for two weeks from early August. This hotel has been closed during the winter for re-furbishment, and they have done a good job. Everything looks shiny, new and sparkly clean. Each room has a safe, tv, phone, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

I stayed on full board, and the meals were great, freshly cooked and tasty. Lots of choice at every meal, a mixture of British and Spanish dishes, plus extra themed buffets such as Chinese, Indian, Italian etc. Yes, there's a British breakfast, and often chips available, but there's so much more to enjoy.

My room was close to Linekers and Sinatra's on the Square,a really noisy spot, but if you close the windows (double glazed)you can hardly hear a thing. You can sleep comfortably with the windows closed, even in August, due to the silent air con.

It's a very central location, close to everywhere.About 10 minutes walk to the Old Town, about 5 minutes to Avda Europa where you can get cheap buses to visit other towns. 5 minutes walk to market (Sun & Wed). For serious shoppers get a bus out to La Marina shopping centre.

The best thing of all about this hotel is the staff! They are quick, efficient, helpful and friendly. They look as if they actually enjoy their jobs, and seem happy to see you!

I would recommend this as a really good 3 star.

My/Our Holiday Review:

Orange is the place to be! Right in the centre of EVERYTHING! Just opposite Sinatras and at the beginning of the strip itself and not even 5 minutes walk away from the beach. Just came back from there after two weeks, thoroughly depressed I'm home and want to go back!

The Orange is about an hours drive away from the airport. When you arrive at the hotel you are greeted by good speaking English reception staff if you speak slow enough. There was three of us in one room so at first the room seems a little small but you soon warm to that, the room is cleaned everyday and fresh towels given if you put the others ones in the bath. We were on the ground floor and once the balcony door was shut you could not hear a thing, certainly did not stop us from sleeping, although we never got in any earlier than three! The food is nice but quite repetitive, there is a few little restaurants just near Jokers if you get sick of the hotel food which are very nice. With the hotel been full board you have the choice of breakfast, dinner and tea which is great, you don't have to get up for breakfast because of the dinner, so we weren't getting up till past one! The pool area is great too, you don't have to get up early to fight for sunbeds, there is plenty of room and beds, the pool itself is just the right size and depth. The hotel entertainment was not up to standard when we looked from our balcony, only a few older people or people with younger children used to stay in.

Be warned, the hotel is full of foreigners, if you prefer to have a mostly English hotel this is not the place for you. Personally they didn't bother us although a group of Spanish men always used to sing to us and we were never quite sure what they were saying!

Just have to give you a few hints for the nightlife - start your night off in Jokers, few quiet drinks sat outside picks up inside about 12 - music is RnB and the dj is excellent, happy hour on spirits last until 2am. You HAVE to go to LENNONS, it is brilliant! I cant describe how good the music is in there, there's also a nice woman who walks about selling shots, recommend a ' whooping/screaming orgasm' cant quite remember the name but they are gorgeous. Chaplins doesn't pick up till about one but is worth it, ask the dj about getting free t-shirts. Sinatras is good too, wet t-shirts competitions on Fridays, funny to watch! Hippodrome is full of people over the age of 20 and so is beachcomber, both places are really sleazy too. Best two places are defiantly Jokers and Lennons.

If I was to go back to Benidorm I would defiantly go back to the Hotel Orange - I highly recommend it!

Booked this online 4 weeks before travelling. First holiday for us without the kids for 18 years and had a wonderful time. Hotel Orange should be a 4* easily. Cleaned every day, fresh towels if required. Food was amazing and really must see it to believe it. Buffet style and as much as you can eat. Hotel spotless.

Pool area cleaned daily, sunbeds in abundance till 10am some mornings!

Air conditioning was a god send, specially through the night.

Even leave little sachets in bathroom of toiletries for your use and replace them when used throughtout the week.

Bendidorm itself is full of bars and more bars and ideal for younger people and couples like us who had escaped the kids for a week.

We had a wonderful week there and saw some brilliant shows in the bars.

I cannot recommend the Orange Hotel highly enough. Just wish i could pick it up and place it down in every place i ever visit again abroad. Have stayed in many hotels and this one has definately spoilt me. Goin to Gran canaria xmas and already checked to see if they own any hotels over there....yes its that good!!

Oh yeh and one last thing....on returning home they even sent a letter thanking us for our custom, i think that says it all don't u?

if you're thinking of going to the Orange then don't hesitate, lucky you thats all i can say.

My/Our Holiday Review:

I have just returned from Benidorm where, I Stayed for 7 nights at the Hotel Orange with three other friends. I returned to benidorm for the second time ths year and i was thrilled to experience another great holiday in this resort.

The hotel was very good and great value for money. The rooms are of a good size for two people and are kept to a high standard by being cleaned everyday. The reception area is also clean and impressive, and the santactury bar that is attached to the hotel is ideal for families and older guests. The pool is small but adequete and there was never a problem in getting a sun bed. The meals that are provided are top class, with the all you can eat themed buffet.

The hotel staff are also very friendly and welcoming as where, all of the first choice reps. Benidorm itself is a brilliant place to visit and offers something for eveyone. The beach is fantastic and the nights out we had were brilliant. The bars were cheap and stayed open until eight in the morning. Our personal favourites were Shampions, Sinatras and of course, the best bar in benidorm Jokers!!

Overall we had a fantastice holiday and i would strongly recommend the Hotel Orange and Benidorm. I enjoyed my holiday so much that I plan to return to benidorm for the thrid year running next year!!

My/Our Holiday Review:

We stayed at the orange hotel on june 4th for 1 week, the staff were exellent on arrival, we got our saftey deposit box first, and a remote for the tv , we also hired a little fridge out for the week cost 18 euros, the room was clean tidy and all new fittings in it,its is not at 18s-30s its more darby and joan , lot of elderly, this was good because there was no pushing and shoving, everyone formed proper queue's,we were on the 7th floor opp the night clubs champions, cafe benidorm ,sinatras, linakers.

These clubs open till about 7-30am the music stops about 3-00am then you here the drunks shouting and bawling till all hours, just hope your bus dont comes to pick you up between 6-00am and 8-30 on the day you go home,or you will be in the middle of them.

The restaraunt was superb, breakfast you can have ceareal, fruit juice tea, coffee, toast, then you got egg / bacon/ sausage/ black pudding/ srambeled eggs, lunch time ther are normally 2 menus on ie pork chops/ steak pie chips potatoes veg, and always pizza on some dishes of chicken/fish on other nights, ther is always something to eat , even if its chips and gravy with a cob.

The bars above that i mentioned try to give you a buy 1 pint get one free, its to get you in, it supposed to be san miguel, its not, its dish water cheap crap beer, the santuary which is a pub its owned by the orange do it as well ,but they give you san miguel,to get a umbrella and a sun lounger you will have to be up for 7am to put a towel on it, they say you can save it for 15mins, they dont follow that rule, there are 3 lifts very slow thats the only bad thing about this hotel, on the morning you leave try get your luggage down a hour before, you can put it in the luggage room which they lock from the reception,

the hotel entertainment was not good, same acts every second night, you get sky news on your tv,if your charging a phone or leaving anything on electrical and you go out the electric switches of when you take the card out, here is a tip put a piece of cardbord in the slot, it works, but it dont open your front door, all the work is complete at this hotel, its fully open, no noisy guests.

lots of chinese shopkeepers there, burger kings/kfc/subway.

Do be carful on your way home, when you get your luggage out from under the bus at the airport, proffesional pick pockets are there, they got a guy near us ,back pocket £400-00 gone within seconds, ladies wath your handbags here to, weather when we was there 30c 82 f, i will always use this hotel again, its a great hotel but in a bad location because of the drunken british lager louts, and i am british,

My/Our Holiday Review:

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Hotel Orange.

The Hotel is central in the Levante area and not too far from the beach. It is also flat which suited me as I have walking difficulties. The food at this hotel is very good. They have a buffet which has lots of choice, including fish, meats, salads etc. They also have a "themed" buffet. One night it was all different types of gateau, another night, salmon done different ways, a Mexican night, plus a night with all different meats.

The weather was very good. It was about 25 - 27 C all the time we were there. If you are on the pool side of the Hotel there is a bit of noise from the bars across the road but it didn't affect us too much. You have to be careful where you change your money though because some of the booths advertise they will give you 1.49 euros to the £ but you have to get 3,000 euros for this rate. They will end up just giving you 1.21 euros to the £. When we were there you could get 1.42 euros to the £.

There is plenty of entertainment for everyone. I particularly liked the cabaret bars with free entertainment. Sandra's Night club was very good, also The Wheeltappers and Shunters Club. We also went to the Talk of the Coast and Valentine's which was next door. They had very good comedians on. The price of the drinks does go up as the night goes on. There were plenty of small bars where you could get much cheaper drinks. They have a very nice promenade in Benidorm and the view across the bay is lovely, especially at night when all the lights are on.

I will certainly be going back to Benidorm and I would also go to the Hotel Orange. I believe it is closing for a while from November to be renovated.

Me n my boyfriend stayed here for 2 weeks in july 2004.

The hotel room was small but big enough for the 2 of us. we had a balcony over looking the pool which was nice. The rooms were cleaned everyday unless they were a complete mess then the maids left them. Think the sheets n towels were changed nearly everyday. N if u were asleep the maids came back later!!!

There was plenty of hot water although the water did smell a bit funny. We couldnt work out how 2 use the airconditioning 4 a few days, all u do is put ur room card into the slot!!!!

We only ate in the hotel as we were full board. The food was really nice n there was always enough tables. They have different styles of food each night.

The entertainment was rubbish we cud c it from our balconyand we never went, we choose 2 go 2 bars n clubs 4 shows like hypnotists n comedians but after 2 weeks u get pretty bored of all shows.

The night life was good drinks in most bars were really cheap happy hour in most places until bout 12amish. Watch out 4 scots thou tryin to get u in there clubs there well annoying n thoses stupid men tryin 2 sell u roses. We usually walked past them separatly so they cudnt c we were a couple!!

Went to teramitica theme park which i didnt rate much, but the water park was good.

Wud recommend this hotel although and its supposed 2 have been renovated so shud be even nicer, prob wunt go back to benidorm again.

Me and my partner spent a week in the hotel in mid July our first impressions of the hotel were very good it looked old but very tidy. but that is were it ended when we got to our room the bed linen was filthy and I didn't get a shower the whole time i was there due the shower hanging off the wall and not working.

The balcony was a disgrace as it had not been cleaned from the time before and there were empty beer and vodka bottles, used toilettries ( not soap) and other rubbish.

The pool area I have to say was very good. a great selection of sunbeds and you never got the feeling that it was cramped.

The breakfast room again was tidy but I was disappointed with the selection to eat.

I feel that our holiday was slightly ruined because the hotel did not employ decent cleaning staff who must have done one room and then skipped one to go onto another

Hotel - Superb Location! Right in the centre of EVERYTHING!! Beach 3 or 4 mins away!

Hotel is in the main square with all the nightclubs, however please don't let this put your off staying at this hotel of the nightlife is not your thing as you cannot hear a thing as set back a bit and good windows! We were on the 3rd floor of 11 so were not that high up but still didn't suffer from any noise pollution. Also we didn't encounter any problems with the lifts as other people have mentioned so not sure what they are going on about!

The hotel is outstanding, beautiful interier, all staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious, loads of drawers and wardrobe space! Really nicley decorated and, extrememley clean - as is the whole hotel. Pool is gorgeous and more than enought sun loungers and parasols with bar open all day, snack also available when not meal times.

Food is very nice, at breakfast you can have any type of cereal, egg, bread, fruit, juice that you fancy - they have EVERYTHING. Even a nice lady doing your toast for you! Lunch times and Evening meals are just as appertising, always something there that your will fancy - one day I had a Steak and Kidney pie and chips for lunch - YUM!

The square where the hotel is situated is in the centre of all the clubs and the surrounding streets have every type of restaurant you could wish for if your fancy eating out. There is also all sorts of pubs and bars for people who are not into "Clubbing!" Kareoke, Irish, Scottish - ANYTHING!!

A couple of mornings we would have breakfast at the GEORDIE Inn in the main sqaure - they are really, really friendly and do a lovely cup of tea!

Now for you clubbers - if you liek R&B, Hip Hop and stuff - a must is JOKERS, its wicked. If your like other stuff then go to Beachcomber, Lennons, Bahamas or Hippodrome - they play sets of everything but you'll soon get to know what plas what and when.

Great Karoke bar is Rockys - a good giggle.

Also a really fun, family bar is Champions - also the ONLY place to watch the footy. It was an amazing expereince to be there for Euro 2004 and one i'll ever forget.

Anyway must go as got loads to do after 2 weeks off!

Happy Holidays

This was our second year going to Benodorm, first year we were staying at the Hotel Monaco which was a really lovely hotel, This year at the Hotel Orange.

We were on holiday with mother-inlaw and father-inlaw this year, and me my wife and little boy, when we arrived at the hotel, we were really impressed by the outside of the building and going inside we foud that the foyer was just as nice, the hotel in general was really clean, as were the rooms, the hotel staff were really friendly and were always eager to help you.

The pool was nice and our little boy enjoyed it, the price of the drinks in the bar were we felt as average for the hotel, the food was excellent and the choice was outstanding, the food was always good and they did themed nights, as well with a wide variety of food, my father-inlaw has stayed in at least two other hotels in benidorm and he said that the Orange was the best hotel for the meals he had stayed in.

the resort itself is good and there is plenty to do fro both young and old, we are not young and certainly not over the hill yet but we enjoyed all entainment, we feel that Beniodorm is excellent for families and since coming home have found out that I am having a new addition, we will be back again next year baby in tow and we are looking forward to it very much.

The travel arrangements on the plane and the air stewards made her flight one she will never forget and the Hotel could not have been better. The winter host at the Orange was a gentleman called LES what an excellent host he was. The mystery trip he took us on was one not to be missed. Benidorm Palace was also a night to remember. Thanks to everyone FIRST CHOICE. HOTEL ORANGE AND LES. My Mums comment on the plane home was WHEN ARE WE DOING THIS AGAIN.

We have just spent a week at the Hotel Orange, and here are our thoughts,

The hotel is very clean, staff are very polite, and it is situated in the middle of everything of intrest. We found the Hotel was too big for its own good, there were not enough lifts, and they are small and slow for a hotel with 11 floors.

Then there is the restraunt....we found we had to wait for people to finish their meals before a table was available, there seemed to be too many guests at the hotel to accomodate, there were always people waiting to sit down. The hotel room was clean, but very basic...all that was in the room was 2 beds, a small television, and very basic furniture...the bathroom was standard. We were on the 4th floor of the hotel, facing the hotel is a night club wich is open until about 7 am...we didn't have 1 good nights sleep, fights and arguments between drunken clubbers saw to that.

Then there was the traffic noise...it was like trying to sleep at a race track...oh, then the dustmen do their rounds....AT 3 am...Staff are very polite, resort is very good, lots to do...Don't expect too much sleep though, we've just got home , and we need another holiday to get over 7 sleepless nights....

The hotel closes in November for revamp, lets hope they put more suitable lifts in, double glazing, and a bigger restraunt......oh, and a differant menu.....but thats another story.

Have returned from a week at the Hotel Orange and must say we were quite impressed. Hotel was spotlessly clean but we've never seen so many pensioners in one place!Lots of bars close by that are normally hectic in summer, were quiet during the time we were there. Plenty of shops towards the old town. Hotel staff very polite and friendly. Food? Plenty to chose from and well presented. We would go again but the Orange will be closing after the summer for a total refit.
